Hi there. I have been away for too long. I really miss putting my thoughts here. So many headlines, be it financial, politics..oh well. We wait and see who is going to have the last laugh.
I do not follow news anymore. Some of the events made me sad, sick or whatsoever align with it. But news, somehow, they follow me. Because of facebook. People like to share their reading, thanks to it, I manage to keep up with world today, forcefully. And some of it is not a nice one. 1MDB, really got me gasping. Well, they detailed it out but still sound like fairy tales. Well, we leave it to AG and PAC to drill. Whatever, they should not be too ambitious with the investment especially the risky one. It is public fund, so do not take chance. It is nothing wrong for PM to diversify nation income by setting up investment firm. But when you start creating liability to cover the other, slowly and slowly, the hole is getting bigger. I know it as I am an avid debt maker. Oh, I really wish I win SSP to make it big.
Moving to another hot thing, GST. It is really troublesome and accounting wise, it is getting more complicated. I think more than FRS. Do you think it is fair? If government needs more fund, why reduce corporate tax? And they rebuffed claiming to pull more investor. Well, if the smarts talk, what the loser like me can say. Anyhow, the corporate has been given so much incentives already. The businessman always cry wolf about loses, loses, profit reduction especially the bank. They run away with so many charges, not to mention the interest. And I have to be frank, I am not affected with GST as the government has reduced the personal tax rate. And the richer will enjoy the most. Imagine 1% saving on RM250,000 income. But the poor will suffer because of price hike by petty traders or unregistered GST business. The government thought they can absorb by BR1M. How many times a year do you give? But overtime, people will swallow and forget about it. And kudos to those businesses who absorb GST as they can offset input against output tax plus the savings from reduction of corporate tax.
And another shocking new is the arrest of our genius due to paedophilia case. I feel so sad thinking about him who has wasted his chance for a bright future, his parents and others. Why it happen to him? What bother him so much that he turn to this? This thing also made me thinking of deleting my nieces/nephews' photos from here. It is a scary world out there.
This is me, my memories, my feelings, my belief, my life. Welcome to my world, read and enjoy.

My Two Cents.
It seems I have abandoned my blog for so long. I was not really in a tip top condition: sick, cold, back pain, left arm pain and stress coz of not enough time for exam preparation. Not to mention the knees pain which I get used too although they did bug me from time to time. Either I called in on MC or EL or came to work in poor health which slowed down my productivity. As a result, my works kept piling up and I have to steal my weekend to make up for it.
But tonight my mind is a little bit hyper active. Guess I feel relieved as I managed to clear some of the backlog. Still I am grateful to my colleagues and bosses who show me their support. I really feel sorry when my boss has to do my things. I hope I can improve my performance as that is the only way to pay them back.
Coz my brain is too active, I do not sleep a wink. Post after post I wrote in my FB. Coz my brain is active and I am in a relax mood, I tend to be a little bit mischievous. This is one of my long post tonight:
"Oh ya, my two cents on Teluk Intan's election. Since some ppl might be interested to read one of the macai PKR thought. Well, it was really a close call. Both parties should work hard to gain the confidence in future GE as the gap is too slim. But what is interesting here is this: when people stand on the same platform, they will vote for the person, no matter what is the background or race. As long as their platform wins. So, our leaders should never be worried about interracial relationship. The harmony will always be there. We, Malaysian would always come together despite our skin color etc. Anyway, we also can see when they felt betrayed, they also would vote for the opposite candidate to show their protest or senang cakap, untuk mengajar. Some of them would say Teluk Intan people has made a wise decision. So, are they saying the rest who support Dyana is moron? I think in politic, there is no right or wrong. It would only become wrong when you cast your vote based on your emotion. Some people would be sensitive because of Dyana's stand on hudud but the funny thing is they do not say anything when their own party keep denying hudud is good for Malaysia. During the campaign, something funny happened. Those people who are strongly against street demonstration have become hooligan themselves by attacking other party's office just because of the 'forbidden word'. Come onlah, in certain place, neighbor get into fight n uttered foul language. are you saying now that the neighbor who get cursed can take law into their own hand? Anyway, the election is over. I hope Datuk Mah would work hard for the constituent and also your ministry. And I really hope for next GE, DAP still field Dyana as candidate for Teluk Intan as her votes is impressive. I believe we need people like her who dares to voice what's good to the people and nation."
Anyway, I really want to see us come together as one Malaysian. Together we help Malaysia to be one of the progressive nation.

Meet and Part - Parcel of Life
At tender age of 13 year old, I was sent to boarding school. The first day, I was really excited. It was like a great achievement as not simply anyone can go to boarding school. You have to pass the exam and for MARA Science Junior College at that time, we have to pass the interview and IQ test. Mmmm, I wonder now what happen to my IQ? Is it because of good food that is being fed to me by my parents and sister, I am losing them? I wonder.
We made friends and develop the special bond because of the hardship that we face there. When you attend boarding school, you are not only studying. There were so many things to cope with. We also missed our family so much. We do not only share knowledge on academic matters but also life and religion. Food sharing, the joke whatsoever, it was fun. Trying not to get caught for breaking the rules or else, face punishment
When I was in form four, we formed a group called The Dozen. Of coz, there were others who had negative opinion on us because they thought we were a bunch of troublemaker. But the actual fact was it was formed because the twelve of us always brought food from dining hall and had together at our dorm. The rules clearly stated we have to eat at the dining hall unless you are sick. We are not allowed to bring back food. With the formation of group, it was easier for us to maintain a duty roaster on whose turn to take the food. Of coz, we would get scolded by the kakak and abang at dining hall but we just turned deaf ears. From some of my dorm mates point of view, we were considered noisy coz we always having fun such as birthday parties and dancing times during the weekend. You can say our voices at the top of our lung all the times. Surprisingly, it was not the same during class.
When the time came for us to part after our final exam, SPM, it was really sad. No matter how many times I wanted to leave school coz of homesick, part of me also wanted us to remain together forever. But everyone really went on their way; some went to overseas to further their studies and ended up working there while others remained loyal at their hometown. When we get to meet each other, it was a warm feeling. Thank you to the social sites, we managed to track each other activities via them even though not meeting in person.
I miss my childhood friends and others too but my time also is running short. I also need time for my family and my own. I do not have time for gathering like last time. My nieces and nephews have grown up now, so that's meant more family events.
Nevertheless, it was really sad to to receive news on the demise of my friends. The recent one was on 18 Jan this year. And I wondered whether I have a chance to meet her again after our graduation? The last time I met her when I visited the friends at Arkansas University. Al Fatihah for her, may she rest in peace.
Make your time to keep in touch and not having any regret. As for me, having losing so many close family members and friends, I become more stronger to receive this sort of news. But this news also remind us it will be our time too. Are we really prepared to meet Allah S.W.T? Have we repented from our sins, how much good deed we have done, do we take care of the poor and needy and do we really carry out our duty as a good Muslim?
Take care and let us recite al Fatihah to our families and friends who had left us. I hope we will be able to see each other in heaven, our ultimate destiny.

Business or Profession Ethics?
I understood doctor also needs to make money. But eventhough you love your position as one of panel doctors for insurance company so much, do not be so reluctant to refer a patient to specialist of going for an x-ray. At my age, it is not just a social or simply fun visit to specialist. It is because I need a detailed check up.
If only you were to act faster upon my compliant, I wont be suffering for 2 months from the arm and back pain. You even have guts to tell me x-ray is no good, it will expose me to cancer. Please remember your passion to choose this as your profession. Thanks to another doctor who is wiling to refer me to specialist.
By the way, my doctor friends, this is a hit to one particular doctor, not all doctors in general. I also have two nieces and one nephew working as doctors. I respect these profession but I just hate doctor who just doing it solely for business. I think this Monday, I will pay him a visit with x-ray diagnotics.

Do we need reason to call?
My friend messaged me
out of blue. I am touched she asking about my well-being. Anyway, what really
caught my attention when she mentioned she does not call because there is
nothing to be told?
In a friendship,
people will call each other or drop a visit whenever they have time or an event
or simply missing someone. When people are close, no need to worry about
nothing to talk. Definitely, when you call your friends, so many things will
crop out unless you do not have time to spare.
As for myself, if I
miss my friends, I will just call to chat. Asking on their well-being. No point
to wait until they are on their deathbed, then only you wants to pay a visit.
It will be too late. All that you will experience there is pain seeing them lie
lifeless. I do not mean that you can't visit when they are sick. In Islam also,
you are encouraged to visit families and friends that are sick, so you can
share the burden and cheer them up. At the same time, hopefully it will make
you repentant on your actions and grateful to Allah for bestowing good health
and life upon you. My view is why wait until it is too late to have a
conversation with them.
Or if I know they are
in misery, I won't wait for them to call. I will call to say hi. To let them
know they can reach me if they need someone to talk or listen to. At times, I
won't probe unless they want to talk. Sometimes, I may give opinion. Sometimes,
I just listen. They just need to pour out their worries. They are not asking for
you to solve their problems.
So, call your friends
anytime you miss them. You do not need any reason to call them. Heck, you are
not dealing with Prime Minister. There is no protocol. And if you care for
them, show it by action. They might be lonely but since you shut them off so
many times whenever they call, they may shy away from you.
Friendship is like a
tree. If you keep fertilizing them with love, concern, sharing, attention, it
will grow to be a healthy tree that shades you from loneliness and showers you
with priceless moments. But if you neglect them, one day you will find it
perishes away.

EPF - Nomination of Individual As Nominees and Creation of i-accounts.
I am grateful that our HR department arranging for EPF to come to our office for nomination of and also activate or create i-accounts. With i-accounts, we can access our EPF accounts online.
Do you know that you can nominate anyone to become your nominee? The advantage is it will help to expedite the withdrawal in the event if your death. Anyway, please take note that for Muslim, even though you have nominate anyone, EPF savings ultimately must be divided following Faraid. The nomination is only to reduce hassle to next-of-kin in withdrawing the deceased's EPF savings. As for other religions, if you nominate an individual as your nominees, he will become the actual rightful beneficiary of deceased's fund.
Therefore, please make nomination on your EPF savings if you have not done yet. For those who have not activate EPF i-account, please go to nearby EPF to get the initial password.
By having access to i-accounts, members can do the followings:
- Check current and previous EPF statements
- Check withdrawal application status and history
- Estimate the eligible amount for withdrawals, savings and investments
- Update profile including correspondence address
- Check i-Akaun activities log
- Check current EPF transaction activities.
I simply cut and paste the benefits from website. Saja nak share with you all the advantages of i-accounts.

Adapting New Environment
Dealing with clients and meeting target to ensure zero errors in performing your task are not an easy task. Well, it also depends on people. As for me, I found it is a challenging task especially with dealing clients. Actually, working in service industry is really hard for me especially when you are the front runner. I used to work in back office or some call it as support group. Most of the times, I enjoy holding upper hand over people as I was in the accounts department. So, now, basically, you have to bow to people. However, not all are bad. In service industry, there is secret to win your clients heart, so that it will be easy for you to deal and negotiate with them. As long as you are conversant in your line, have good communication skill, understand your clients’ need and able to give fast respond to their queries, then, your life would be easy. I am still learning but at this matured (hahaha, don’t want to say “old”) age, the learning process is quite slow. Most of the time, in the process, the knowledge evaporated into the thin air
But the best thing is at this age also, you have more patience and therefore, you think twice before act. Thus, ugly consequences can be avoided. It was quite difference when I was the young one. The swift reaction and my laser tongue to the provocation are faster than lightning. My advice to the young guys who just join the workforce, be more perseverance, add more patience, improve knowledge and communication skill and the utmost importance, remember wealth comes from Allah. Do not start counting money only the moment you work, I meant beside money, there are more important things such as learning curve. If you are good, in due times, you will earn it. If it moves so slow, there must be a reason. As long as you enjoy your job and do it right, it will work fine. I have been working with so many companies. There is one company with motto, do it right the first time. Ahhh…so damn difficult. But it is right, coz if you do it wrong, you will spend your time correcting the mistake. I did it wrong once processing payroll and took 2/3 months to rectify. Felt like falling into black hole. Place more caution, until then, happy working.

Showdown : Appraisal Time
It is time now for interim review. I think in your career, getting assessed by your boss is the most dreadful things, right. I always hate the confrontation but when in one of my previous company, I always looking forward to get my appraisal done. LOL. I was such a bad person and as I said, it was not a proud thing for always go against your boss. I will put my own grade and waited for his response. But surprisingly, he always gives me good appraisal. At that time, I felt so damn proud but now, I felt ashamed.
Last time it was done once a year. Sometimes, boss does not even bother to discuss with you. Some of them called you in but just show their appraisal and started condemn you. Hahaha, condemn is a strong word but more like “showtime, listen to me, this is where you are lacking!”
As time changes, human resource started to take different approach. And don’t you know in some company it is not called human resources anymore. It becomes people etc to show that they are no longer a cold department.
Now, they have two or more interim appraisal before the final one. So, the interim will give you chance to repent and correct yourself. Smile. And we have to set our own goal and grading your own performance. But to be truth, I hate it. Why can’t they just do it and submit to HR? I always be embarrassed the moment my boss detailing my errors and weaknesses.
And I really hate it when I have to appraise people especially, if they are non-performing staff. To make it worse, they are close to you. But you have to do it. I have to think it this way, if I do not point it out, they will never know and I might not be there to back them up all the time. By the time they know their weaknesses, it is too late for them to go back. I am not around anymore. They might be able to rectify it but it may take time and competition can be stiffer with energetic and vibrant newcomers.
But like it or not, we have to face it. And I will be in my imaginary world again to deal with the vicious reality.

Post Pilihanraya

Job Hopping
Today is my first day at new working place. Changing job becomes my norm within 2/3 years. The longest period I served company is 7 years. Some interviewers are telling me that I do not have credibility coz I always job hopping.
Well, understand their point of view but I feel like telling them, if you think so, why you must conduct interview for managerial post? Shouldn't you do internal promotion or the current staff is not fit to be the manager? Why is it like that? Is it due to poor staff development at your place, lack of training, your poor judgement in hiring talented people or poor supervision skill of your top and middle management? If you do not do internal promotion, do you expect people would remain at your working place forever? And the same things go to me.
There are pros and cons. Sometimes, when you think that the development of your skill stop there, then it is time to get more exposure at other place. And there are times, when you need to move as other place provides you with bigger opportunity for you to be exposed to higher level and job skill/development. My view, why not? If I want to have an easy life, I can just stay at one place but then I won't have rich experience in different sector although my pay is not getting anywhere. It really depends on what you want and what the company can offer.
I always strive for job enrichment and satisfaction. Besides, my level of curiosity is high...I always wonder what's happening in this sector and how it relates to my particular field. Then I have to explore by joining them. The employer always worried that the trained staff would leave and it burdened them to find competent staff but trust me, it is always case of on the job training and you find your own way to survive. In many places that I worked, it is our own initiative and the training provided to you almost none. But one thing that I always ensure is to leave a proper handover and ample guidance to whoever taking my place.
Anyway, I am happy to be back at my old working place. I was there before for a very short stint before moving back to my hometown. Now I am back in KL/Selangor. It seems my jodoh with this company a long way to go. Nice to meet old faces who still remember you though three years have passed. Best thing, the office is adjacent to shopping mall. Isn't it a wonderful place for ladies to work?

Selagi bernama manusia
Sebenarnya ingat nak betul-betul hibernate sehingga selesai exam.
Kalau anda rasakan susah untuk mengambil di sebelah sana, might as well, jangan tinggalkan. Satu lagi, the verification of identification is to safeguard the safety of your kids. Please understand that only the person who sign can pick up kids and the rule is there for a reason. You have to respect if you want to leave your kids under our care.
Akupun busy-body. Member aku sudah panggil guard. Aku tengok guard 2/3 orang cuba menahan sisuami(I perceived) dari menumbuk another guy. Sementara si isteri(A) menjerit-jerit memarahi isteri(B) that guy tersebut. Tak tahu apa puncanya tetapi my friend said it started from restroom. A suruh rendahkan suara dan akhirnya berlakulah drama. Cool down dan selepas itu, baru deal with it. If you have pointed out sekali his or her mistake, cukuplah dan tak payahlah menarik attention orangramai kerana teguran anda hanya untuk dia. Just between you and her. Dan kalau dia disagree, just walk away. You sudah buat your point, Cukuplah. Bukan dalam kelaspun.
Akhirnya dekat nak tutup, ada perempuan ni beritahu kehilangan adik perempuannya yang berumur 12 tahun. Aku tak tahu berjumpa atau tidak akhirnya. Anyway, announcement sudah dibuat. Masa aku datang semula, kami minta dia check samada adiknya pergi menunggu di parkir kereta. I hope she is there. It is a big place, anything can happen. Last time, ada parents terpisah dengan ana yang baru berumur 4 tahun. Sungguh tidak faham how can that happen. Seronok membelipun, mata mesti check posisi anak.

Resmi Padi, Semakin Tunduk, Semakin Berisi
Sebenarnya aku sedih juga berpisah dengan lecturers yang work so hard untuk compress all information in such a short time in order to prepare us for the exam. Tak terbalas budi mereka but at least we could make them happier if we passed the exam, right.
Tetapi apa yang aku nak share ialah my feelings yang I rasa sepanjang mengambil kelas ini. Satu, kalau kita nak sambung belajar, cepat-cepatlah buat sebelum usia mengejar kita. Mungkin daya ingatan semakin lemah. Aku dulu sibuk nak mengejar kekayaan hingga lupa jika ilmu kita banyak, kita lagi kaya. Get me? Lagipun semangat belajar masih adakan, yalah macam baru fresh from the oven, begitulah kita sebagai fesh undergradskan. However, having said that, it is never too late to study.

Gaji Staff Baru Lebih Tinggi

Harga Sebuah Pembangunan
Kelihatan dari balconi rumah, barisan rumah-rumah teres mengganti pokok-pokok kehijauan. Semasa kempen jualan rumah, salesman berkata pilihlah this countryside view sebab pokok-pokok menghijau, nyaman mata memandang. Akupun okaylah, sejuk aja rumah aku. Tapi Tipah tertipu rupanya. Pokok-pokok ditebas kesemuanya.

Do we have a choice?
Duduk sorang-sorang sambil memandang keluar, teringatlah aku satu perkara.
Belajar to forgive and forget.

Bila bekerja ni, macam-macam karenah manusia. kitapun sama. Kalau dah tenang, senanglah kita bekerja.
Adatlah berkecil hati, bermasam muka, bertekak tetapi janganlah berlarutan. Kadang-kadang dalam menegakkan sesuatu isu, kita mudah melontarkan kata-kata yang mudah melukakan hati rakan sekerja. Sayapun tidak terkecuali. Ada sekali tu, pernah rakan sekerja menangis kerana saya. Sebab itulah penting untuk kita sentiasa bersabar. kalau terlalu marah, seeloknya kita mendiamkan diri terlebih dahulu, biar sejuk, baru kita berkata-kata.

Beringat Sebelum Terlambat
Kes ragut berleluasa. Penyamun ni pun dah daring, macam-macam idea nak mencuri. Tak kiralah kalau nyawa terkorban.
Bayangkan kalau ditarik aja bag tu.

33 tahum mengenali arwah. Walaupun tidak rapat mana tetapi memang terasa kehilangannya. Al Fatihah untuk arwah. Saya doakan agar isteri, anak-anak, keluarga dan rakan rapatnya tabah menghadapi pemergian beliau.
